Villainy! The Powers that Be have declared war on fair Gaelcon! By which we mean there are works on the DART lines on the weekend of Gaelcon. Some stations are closed, including Lansdowne Road, which is the closest DART station to the Ballsbridge Hotel, site of Gaelcon. You won’t be able to get the DART there on Saturday or Sunday. Attached below is a map of the stations that will be closed on those two days – they are OPEN on both Friday and Monday, so you’ll still be able to dodge the marathon on Monday on the DART.

OTHER OPTIONS:

If you were planning on getting the DART to the Con on those two days, then you still have plenty of options:

– DART tickets for those days will be accepted as bus tickets for the two main routes which service the Ballsbridge Hotel, the 4 and the 7 routes (links below).
– You can get the DART as far as Grand Canal Dock, then transfer onto one of those two routes and travel the rest of the way to to Con by bus.
– Finally, you can walk from Grand Canal Dock, which isn’t all that far.
