Finally caught our breath after a busy few months running Heckcon and Academy of Eblana. No rest for the wicked though! We are full steam ahead for Gaelcon which is coming up on the October bank holiday weekend (24th – 27th). You can prebook your ticket now on the Gaelcon website. It’s lining up to be a great weekend of gaming
Our Dublin games night is moving from The Dark Horse to the Robert Reade on Store Street.
Come along and check it out. It’s on the Luas line and a stones throw from Connolly station, Busaras and major bus routes. Entry is free!
During the con we also mentioned an Industrial era, steampunk, high fantasy roleplaying game that Heck was developing called TIER. It has now been released under creative commons licence. If you want to check it out you can download it from this Dropbox link.
Thanks to everyone for their great support. Through a combination of entry tickets, several fantastic raffles and generous donations we raised €3,530 for the Irish Cancer Society.
A big thanks to all our attendees, those who donated (will get the full list from Andrew and post them here) items for our raffles and everyone who helped make the con happen.
Later today we will post a link to HECKs RPG system TIER. Stay tuned!
This is the big one folks. Iga.ie/heckcon brings you something you can get nowhere else.
A little over a week until the con and the updates are coming in hard and fast. Stay tuned for more on wargames, RPGs, free play and special events.
Presale tickets are still on sale and available here. Remember, all proceeds raised are being donated to the Irish Cancer Society.
Just a few hours left in our Academy early bird special.
The venue for Heckcon has just been announced! The National College of Ireland, located in the IFSC will be the venue for what is sure to be a great days gaming for a great cause.
